RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is a theoretical percentage that indicates how much of total wagers a game returns over the long run. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, it means an average of ৳96 comes back for every ৳100 wagered — but this is a long-term average, and each round's outcome is independent.
The typical RTP range varies by game type. Slot games generally fall between 92% and 98%. Blackjack played with the correct strategy can approach nearly 99%. European Roulette has an RTP of around 94–97%, while American Roulette is somewhat lower.
House edge is the flip side of RTP — it is the share of total wagers the casino retains over the long run. An RTP of 96% means a house edge of 4%. The lower the house edge, the more favourable the statistics are for the player.
Knowing these concepts before you play helps you choose the right game. Picking a high-RTP game means your bankroll tends to last comparatively longer over time. Keep in mind, however, that RTP is not a guarantee of winnings — every spin or hand is independent and random.

Glossary for Beginners
Some familiar words in the world of betting and casinos can be confusing when heard for the first time. A simple explanation of each is provided below.
RTP (Return to Player)
A theoretical measure of what percentage of total bets a game returns to players over the long term. It is not a guarantee of winnings, but a statistical average.
House Edge
The percentage of total bets that the casino keeps for itself over the long term. The lower the house edge, the more favorable the statistics are for the player.
Wagering Requirement
The condition specifying how many times the bonus money must be wagered before it can be withdrawn. For ko9999's welcome bonus, this is 20 times.
Odds
A numerical expression of the probability of an event — the higher the odds, the greater the potential winnings, but the less likely the event is to occur.
Bankroll
The total amount of money set aside specifically for betting. Thoughtful bankroll management is the key to enjoying gaming over the long term.
Parlay / Accumulator
A method of combining multiple bets together to form one larger bet. All bets must win — the risk is higher, but the potential reward is also much greater.
Live Bet (In-Play)
Placing a bet in real time while a match or game is in progress. Odds change every moment, so quick decisions are needed.
Cashout
The option to partially or fully exit a bet before the match or game ends, locking in a profit or loss based on the current odds.
Volatility
The level of risk in a slot or game. High volatility means large but infrequent wins; low volatility means smaller but more frequent wins.
Free Spin
Free spins received as a bonus in a slot game — your own funds are not deducted, but winnings can turn into real rewards.
Spread
A predetermined points or goals difference between two teams, used to give the weaker team an equal opportunity in betting.
Stake
The amount of money placed on a specific bet. The higher the stake, the greater the potential winnings — but the potential loss is also proportional.
